A home of heart and heritage

As we entered the estate, passing towering peaks and ancient gums, we knew we’d found our family’s future.
We invite you to share it with us.
our home

Milpara was, and always will be, a place of connection and communion.

Named by the previous owners, “Milpara” was chosen in homage to the Aboriginal word “Milperra” – meaning ‘gathering of people’.

Our beautiful home was built on Taungurung country. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land and express our gratitude and respect to the Taungurung peoples.

The property has been used for two decades as a hub for hearts – a sacred space to connect youth, community and social networks in the region.

As you sit on the veranda and watch the sun paint the sky, you can almost hear the voices of our heritage on the wind. When we bought the home in 2020, we felt the call to join in their story – to provide a space for all hearts to reconnect, restore and retreat.

our family

Our family has refurbished, refurnished, and filled Milpara with love after purchasing the home in 2020.

Since then, we’ve started our journey in nurturing the land and restoring the estate.

We have taken our first steps towards an environmentally sensitive agricultural development – including land care, pest removal and soil profiling ahead of our horticultural and permaculture plans.

As we move into a new chapter of our story, we’ll continue our commitment to the land with further investment into our spectacular grounds.

Thank you for a beautiful stay. Everything was provided for - it was a very relaxing getaway.
